Let’s see what buyers say about the mattresses.

Awara Reviews

We have been so happy with this bed we purchased 5 more mattresses to replace older mattresses for the house we recently purchased. We don’t wake up with aches and pains anymore and if one of us turns in bed the other isn’t woken up, as it happened on our old mattress. Very happy that materials are well sourced and sustainable. Couldn’t beat the warranty Awara offers compared with other comparable companies. One of the best surprises was the sheets and mattress protector. the sheets are sooo soft and wash up great and the protector is very high quality. I’ll continue to spread the word about this mattress. It’s wonderful!!!

Where should I start! This is such a fantastic mattress! From the minute you open the box you notice that the mattress does not smell! My priority was buying a mattress that had no chemicals. I spend hours a day resting and sleeping on the mattress so I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t get poisoned while I was sleeping.  And than there’s the coziness of the mattress. It’s so soft ! It feels like you are being hug by a cloud. This mattress is made with organic materials, so I can have a good night sleep without becoming hot! No night sweats with this mattress !  I highly recommend this mattress. If you are looking for a great night sleep, look nowhere else! And if you don’t like it, they’ll take it back.

We did a lot of research and finally decided on the Awara natural hybrid mattress. We Couldn’t be happier. I sleeping better and feeling more rested in morning. I am a side sleeper, and even with this mattress being rather firm, I feel comfortable while laying on my side. There is some bounce, but the overall feel is very nice. I recommend and am Read more about review stating Awesome, happy with my purchase.

I have used this twin XL mattress on an adjustable bed for three year and three months. The first two years it was very comfortable. However, in the last year it gradually begin to slump in the middle despite being on an adjustable bed 100% supported with a steel and 3/4″ inch plywood bottom support. I finally had to give it up because of the pain it caused. To verify this I had my wife sleep on it. After one night she too was hurting and would not continue to test it. The warranty is a joke. Yes it meet their 1″ sag requirement to be replaced under warranty. But it required shipping it back to the manufacturer. Once these or unpacked you cannot get the genie back in the bottle. The cost to ship (freight only) is too costly just to take a chance they will cover it.

This bed was great for the first three months. We were coming from a queen size old inner spring that we got rid of because it had formed divots where we sleep. This ghost bed how has the same exact thing. This bed is not good for heavy people. If you weigh 200 pounds or more it will be deformed in about 6 months. This bed is way too expensive to be this crappy in only 6 month’s time. So I have only had it for 9 months and I am handing this bed down to my son who is about 100 pounds and getting a new inner spring. This foam only mattress was the worst thing for my back.I never had any back trouble before sleeping on this mattress. I have been sleeping on the couch because it is more comfortable.

I truly wanted to love my Ghost Bed. The reviews were great, I did a lot of research on the technology. I believed I wanted a firmer mattress. But after 2 1/2 months, it is simply TOO firm. I sleep awful on it, consistently every single night. So now I am stuck because I want to return it, but since I bought it here on Amazon, Ghost Bed will NOT come pick it up at your home. I don’t have a vehicle to deliver this to a UPS drop off. So I guess I have to go spend another $100 on a mattress topper. What a pain. Ghost Bed appears to be a complete marketing scam. Do not buy a Ghost Bed, but if you must, don’t buy it on Amazon WHATEVER YOU DO because if you don’t like it you’re going to have to work a lot harder to return it.

Conclusion

As you can see, Awara is the clear winner here. Not only does it beat GhostBed in terms of cost and quality. But it also offers you Forever Warranty and 365 trial nights, unlike GhostBed’s 101 nights trial and 20 years warranty. Awara is also good for the planet.
