Take a look at this table to look at the overview of Awara vs Happsy. Below, we bring you the detailed information.

Awara vs Happsy : Mattress Construction

Awara and Happsy are eco-friendly mattresses made of natural and organic materials. Both mattresses are 10 inches thick, but when it comes to a luxurious sleep, Happsy may feel like a slight compromise. Awara is rated 7 on the firmness scale whereas Happsy is rated 6. While Awara is made of four plush layers, Happsy is made of five. Let’s dig deep.

Mattress and Construction:

The topmost layer of Awara is made with a plush Euro Top with New Zealand wool. This helps you stay cool and dry while feeling oh-so-smooth. The second layer of Awara comes with breathable 4 inches of Rainforest Alliance-certified natural Dunlop latex that contours to your curves and supports pressure points and joints. Whereas Happsy offers you a thin layer of cotton as their first layer and wool batting in the second layer.

The third layer comprises of individually wrapped coils to improve breathability and reduce motion transfer. So your sleep won’t be interrupted even if your partner tosses and turns throughout the night. With Happsy, you get 2 inches of latex layer, half of what you get in Awara. And in the fourth layer of Happsy, you get 8 inches of pocketed springs, which is 1 inch less than Awara.

The final layer of Awara comes with a beautiful cotton blend cover, which offers a support base with four sturdy handles to make moving a breeze. With Happsy, you get a thin layer of cotton filling.

Firmness:

Awara is rated 7 on the firmness scale and strikes the right balance between plushness and stability. Whereas Happsy is rated 6 on the firmness scale, which may feel slightly soft and lead to sinking in.

Thickness:

Both Awara and Happsy are 10 inches thick.

Awara vs Happsy : Warranty and Returns

Happsy offers 20 years of warranty whereas, with Awara, you can enjoy a forever warranty. Both Awara and Happsy offer you free returns.

I’m a picky sleeper. I’m not proud of that, it’s just true. An old neck injury and a general restless streak make for unsatisfying sleep a lot of the time. I’ve tried all the tricks, including some other high-end mattresses. This Awara mattress is the most comfortable thing I have ever slept on, hands down. It’s great for side sleeping, but also fantastic for back sleeping. It’s even good for stomach sleeping, and that can be a tricky proposition. We originally got this mattress for the guest room, but we’ve actually moved it into our bedroom because it’s so damn good! Don’t get me wrong, I like our guests, but they aren’t sleeping here every night. I get the best mattress. That’s only fair.

Purchasing my Awara mattress was one of the most seamless online processes I have ever experience. I am in love with my mattress. I sleep very well. Thank you.

Luxurious. I will preface this to say that I am no expert when it comes to mattresses but I will say that I fell in love with this mattress as soon as I laid down. I have been getting great sleep and it feels amazing to lay on.

This mattress was a huge investment for us. Unfortunately, we spent a ton of money on it & it gives me back pain. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s too firm or what. It gets lumpy even after being rotated. Very disappointed with this purchase. Wish it wasn’t way too late to return it. Tried to make myself love it but sadly just can’t.

I hate this mattress. I also had high hopes and waited for over a year to find comfort in this bed. I also bought the topper for hundreds more in the hope it would help. I don’t understand how so many are so happy with this product. After spending thousands I am now ordering a new organic bed and fervently hoping it will not be another cardboard “Box bed”.

I kept waiting and hoping this mattress would get softer/more comfortable. Some reviews say these mattresses soften over time. I even shelled out extra money for the topper, which did not make any difference. Now I’m out almost $3K and have to start shopping for another mattress. I wake up at 3 a.m. with my hip pressure point screaming (I’m a side sleeper, and I’m not that old.) Very, very disappointed.

Conclusion

Both Awara and Happsy are perfect for people looking for an eco-friendly variant. But if we had to choose one, it would be Awara because it gives you more for less. Awara is an affordable option compared to Happsy, yet gives you a higher trial period, warranty, and comfort. Awara is a plush luxury mattress that’s designed to give you the best sleep of your life.
