The table above offers a comprehensive detail of the key features of each mattress. A detailed description of the various factors that buyers should consider is given below.

DreamCloud vs Emma : Mattress Construction

DreamCloud mattress is made up of 7 layers and has a thickness of 14 inches. It is a medium firm mattress having a rating of 6.5 on the firmness scale. Comparatively, Emma mattresses have 5 layers and are 11.5 inches thick. It has a firmness rating of 6.0 and is deemed a medium firm mattress on the rating scale.
The DreamCloud mattresses focus on enhancing comfort while ensuring sound sleep for different sleepers, whereas Emma mattresses are designed only to provide the right amount of support.

Material and Layers-

DreamCloud mattresses feature an ultra-light, breathable cashmere top cover for maximum airflow. Each innerspring coil is individually wrapped for customized contouring and incredible support. The CertiPUR-US cooling gel memory foam offers excellent pressure relief and cushioning with increased airflow and minimum motion transfer. Even though Emma mattresses are made from similar materials, they are more suitable for heavier people. Its dense memory foam layer makes it too hot and too firm for some sleepers. The contouring support is also not that good and may cause pain and discomfort for sleepers.

Firmness-

DreamCloud mattress has a firmness rating of 6.5, which makes it a medium firm mattress suitable for people with different body types and sleeping habits. It assures utmost comfort and great support for couples, combination sleepers, and both petite and heavy sleepers. Emma mattress is also medium-firm, although its firmness rating is slightly lower at 6.0. This makes the mattress a bit too hard and slightly uncomfortable for boney sleepers who prefer to sleep on their side.

Thickness-

DreamCloud mattress has a thickness of 14 inches, whereas Emma Mattress is only 11.5 inches thick. Since the thickness of a mattress impacts its durability and life, DreamCloud mattresses tend to last longer than Emma mattresses. Moreover, DreamCloud mattresses are less likely to sag even after years of use which might not be true for Emma mattresses.

DreamCloud vs Emma : Warranty and Returns

DreamCloud offers a lifetime warranty. On the other hand, Emma mattresses come with a limited warranty period of 10 years. In terms of returns, both DreamCloud and Emma follow a free return policy.

DreamCloud vs Emma :Financing

While both DreamCloud and Emma offer financing options to their customers, the minimum payment for Dreamcloud is $63 per month compared to $67 per month for Emma.

DreamCloud vs Emma : Size & Pricing

Both Dreamcloud and Emma mattresses are available in various sizes, which include Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and Cal King. Even though the cost of DreamCloud mattresses is relatively higher, the exceptional comfort and support justify the cost.

Let us take a look at what the customers have to say about DreamCloud vs Emma mattresses.

DreamCloud mattress reviews:

“Super impressed by this Cloud bed. My daily back and neck pain is GONE. This has been an absolute lifesaver. The adjustable frame helps to sleep at the perfect position. Our dog and son are obsessed and always want to climb into bed with us too. So happy we took the leap and bought this bed.”

“I am a bed snob. I’m the equivalent of Goldilocks and if this bed was stolen from me, I would happily purchase another. I went from a tempur-pedic bed to this one. I was apprehensive at first but dang, I couldn’t be more happy. I used to expect that every morning included me cracking my back in bed, often trying to adjust my neck while getting ready in the morning. Ever since sleeping in this bed, I haven’t done any of it. It provides stability while being super comfortable. You won’t regret getting this bed. Seriously. Run, don’t walk.“

“My wife and I tried high end queen sized mattresses in Bloomingdale’s in the $2000-$6000 range. When you’re mattress arrived we both said wow. We’re side and back sleepers and I have to say the Dreamcloud was every bit as comfortable as any mattress we tried. We did order a bed frame with padded fabric and a pair of drawers on either side just to raise the mattress off the floor by about 12 inches about $200 on Amazon . My wife wanted a pillow top so we ordered one from Amazon $60 with bamboo stuffing just to give the mattress a little softness. We topped the whole thing off with a dreamcloud sheet set and we also got miracle sheets that has silver thread woven into their super soft sheets to prevent bacteria from forming. We love this setup.”

Emma mattress reviews:

“At the beginning of May I registered a mattress from Emma for return. To date this mattress has not been collected. Over the past 2 months I have contacted Emma by phone several times and each time I was told that they would ‘escalate’ my request and that I would be contacted by the logistics company within a week. Unfortunately, nothing happens at all.”

“Everything was fine until I used the promised 100 night trial guarantee. I’ve been trying for weeks to make a return and just don’t get the email they tell me they will send to confirm it. I have tried by phone, chat and email. I have had the mattress in a hallway for days because I have not adjusted to the firmness, which caused me shoulder discomfort. I think if a brand makes a promise with so much emphasis, they should deliver on it and not just use it as a marketing tool.”

“The mattresses have stunk until they were picked up. They were very comfortable but I could no longer sleep on these because of the smell. Exchange was not an issue as I had to wait 2 months for delivery. Customer service has indicated that they have all sorts of no information as to when the exchange might take place. Now Emma wants money from me even though everything has already been cleared and finalized. The whole Emma experience has cost me a lot of time and patience. Cannot recommend it to anyone.”
